meeting in New York City today that could decide the fate of professional baseball in Israel. Former Israel Baseball League commissioner and US ambassador to Israel and Egypt, Daniel Kurtzer led the summit.

Ami Baran, manager of the IBL's Netanya Tigers, was expected to show. Haim Katz, president of the
Israel Association of Baseball, Israel's baseball governing body (who recently canceled the contract that allowed the IBL to operate) was on a conference call with the room.
